Orkut Applications

If your friends don’t see your updated profile name or photo, or Facing Redirecting error in whie opening orkut or gmail you should make sure they’ve recently cleared their cache and cookies. Sometimes updates can take a few days (or longer) to appear. Orkut is unable to help you make updates to a particular profile. If your page is not appearing correctly, here are a few things you can try to solve yours Problem

• - Clear your cache, then try accessing your profile again. Instructions for clearing your cache are mention below.

To clear your cache in Microsoft Internet Explorer:

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the “Tools” menu.
2. Select “Internet Options.”
3. Click on the “General” tab if it isn’t selected already.
4. Clear your browser’s cache. Note that it can take up to 30 minutes for your computer to delete your cache history.
   • For IE version 7:
     1. Click the “Delete…” button
     2. Click “Delete Files…” under the heading “Temporary Internet files.”
   • For IE version 6, click “Delete Files...” under the heading “Temporary Internet files.”
5. Click “OK” to exit.

To clear your cache for Mozilla Firefox:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Clear your browser’s cache.
   • For Firefox version 2.0:
     1. Click “Tools“ > “Options” > “Advanced.”
     2. Click the “Network” tab.
     3. Click “Clear Now” under the “Cache” heading.
   • For Firefox version 1.5 or earlier:
     1. Click “Tools” > “Options” > “Privacy.”
     2. Click “Cache” > “Clear.”
3. Click “OK” to exit.

• - Make sure that cookies are enabled in your browser. Instructions for enabling cookies can be found here
• - Try accessing your account from another browser.
• - Try restarting your computer.
