To add Google Talk to your Firefox sidebar, bookmark the below URL (right-click below Link and choose Bookmark this link)
Goto Bookmarks menu, Navigate to the above Bookmark, Right click and choose Properties. Tick the checkbox that says Load this bookmark in the sidebar.
You can also use Gtalk Firefox addon to add Gtalk on firefox sidebar if you are facing any problem in adding gtalk to firefox sidebar.
